Diary of a Wimpy Kid reviewed by an Awesome Kid

April 27, 2011 | by Great Thoughts | Great Thoughts | 17 Comments

Today, I am delighted (and so thrilled) to welcome one of my 9 year old daughters as a guest book reviewer.  In her own words…

Diary of A Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

With this book being a New York Times bestseller, Jeff Kinney is the best cartoonist and author in one.  This book is SO funny.  Greg Heffley is the most popular character.  Rowley Jefferson draws all of the attention.

With so many books in this series and now with the Wimpy Kid movies, you don’t want to miss the Wimpy Kid.

This book is an awesome present for any kid.  I recommend it.

What are you reading and where are you going?

Looks like reading, reviewing, and blogging is in the genes. Great job!! :>

    From my son:

I agree with your review and think Roddick is so obnoxious! I love these books. I’m reading Roddick Rules and The Last Straw right now. Oh and I’m also reading Harry Potter, The Goblet of Fire.

Thank you for reviewing the book – maybe you should do mom/daughter book reviews! Will pass it on to Mia and Nessa!

Such a great review! Thank you. Do you think these are appropriate books to read to a 6 year old?

Great review Jenny! You know, I have not read any of these books yet, but I laughed my head off when my son read me some excerpts from one of them. I really need to get on the ball and catch up with you little Ms. K!
