I know we are all looking around for great holiday gift ideas. To quote Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music and Oprah, here are a few of my favorite things:
I love to curl up and read- we all know that. But did you know that while reading, I am usually drinking coffee or hot tea made by my new Keurig coffee pot. I especially like the Kona coffee, the Timothy’s Columbian decaf and the Sleepytime Tea in it. My kids go for the hot cocoa and the apple cider. I bought mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond but they are sold everywhere now. Target has a great selection of the K cup coffees.
But sometimes reading requires a little something stronger in which case I LOVE this Malbec wine, Innovacion from Whole Foods. It is affordable and wonderful!
Now you need to buy some good books to go with these beverages, right?

I’m hoping that you are off to somewhere wonderful this holiday season.
If so, don’t forget to take:
A good travel blanket as the airlines don’t give you their icky blankets any more. Here’s one that looks good:
http://www.magellans.com/store/In_Flight_Comfort___Pillows_and_BlanketsIF545# I, of course, like it in the Surf Color.
And, in hopes that you are somewhere warm (and if so, please tell the sun I say hi), my favorite facial suncreen by ColoreScience– it’s powder, it’s invisible, it lasts for years and it’s waterproof. I buy it from a local spa or, believe it or not, have found it new on ebay! (Gotta love that!)
And, if you don’t mind, please remind my husband that I do like shiny baubles and good perfume!
Disclosure- No one paid me ANYTHING to recommend these books and items. Just my suggestions!
What are you reading and where are you going?
