Last year, I had the joy of meeting Dee Dee Robson, the author of this book, The Dee View, and spending a weekend with her. She is lovely, funny, vivacious, a tad off color and knows a good martini. You have to love a woman who comes to a conference with a little bottle of vodka for all attending- my kind of gal!
I started following her blog, thedeeview.com, from then on. She writes about parenting, her weight and health and any other damn thing she wants. Every mother will relate to Dee Dee and her parenting challenges. I am tickled silly that she has now published a book!
Her book is her blog but so much more. You will laugh out loud at her parenting foibles and at her getting in a canoe. You will angst at her story of a good friend with Alzheimer’s You will crave a good martini when you are done.
