I’m not a big fan of winter. Not at all. Thus, I really root for the Groundhog to come out, see no shadow and bring Spring on. But he didn’t. Sigh!
Since I live in Texas, we don’t really follow the hog here. For me, seeing Resortwear in stores means Spring is coming-my very own version of Groundhog Day! I love the navy and white clothes and the first bright colored prints of the season. These really are saying, “Go on vacation! Buy me! You know you need the sun!”
I even think that instead of Punxsutawney Phil in Pennsylvania, it should be Laguna Lou in California. That way, we would be assured that Spring is coming quickly. In honor of today being Groundhog Day, I went to Youtube and found the movie trailer from 1993 to that amazing classic, Groundhog Day. I love this movie! Enjoy!
