It was really good! I have heard so many people recommend Downtown Abbey, and since you compare the two I guess I will have to jump on it. With Netflix I can download it right to my computer. I'll let you know how I like it.

This book sounds really good. It's not in a category that I normally read. I normally read historical or historical romance, but this caught my eye and my interest. I've added it to my list of books to look for. Who can pass up a book with an inspiring story like this? Thank you for this post :)

I just finished reading this book on my Kindle! I absolutely loved it! It really makes you think twice about how fortunate you are in life. For instance when Maurice is upset because he can't get to school on time. Not having an alarm clock would have never crossed my mind. It's something a convenience that we all take for granted. I felt so bad for him when his brothers would take items Laura gave him to take home.

Or one of things I found most touching is when Laura presented him with 2 options: she would make his lunch or give him money to buy lunch at school. He chose for her to make his lunch but asked if it could be in a brown paper bag. Laura was puzzled and asked why a brown bag and he said because it means someone cares about you. So touching.
