Books for the Weekend

May 21, 2010 | by Andrea Katz | Uncategorized | 4 Comments

It’s been a LONG, kid filled week and my vow to post every week day went awry.   But here I am..

I actually stopped reading a book in the middle- that NEVER happens.  The Mennonite in the Little Black Dress just couldn’t keep my attention.  Next up on the Kindle are:

The Last Time I Saw You by Elizabeth Berg– this just came out in April and her books are typically good quick reads.

The Lonely Polygamist by Brady Udall (love the title, don’t you?) – This book was named one of Amazon’s best books of the month for May and I’m excited to dive into it as I’m bit obsessed with the topic due to my favorite TV show, Big Love.

Through my new Twitter addiction, I met the author of a GREAT reading website- http://www.reads4pleasure.com/.  She has some great book reviews- check it out.

What are you reading and where are you going?

I hate when books lose my attention, too. How is the Kindle working out for you? I hear rave reviews about them.

I'm reading Ian McEwan's newest novel SOLAR–it's great–funny, ascerbic, searing.

As boring as it sounds, right now I'm reading Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips. Boy do I need a refresher course!
