I’m often asked how I find time to read. I reply, “How do you not find time to read?” For me, reading is right up there with food, shelter and clothing- it’s simply a staple essential in my life. Even when life is at its craziest (and I have twins so I do crazy often), I still have to read before I go to sleep, even if I am zombie tired. That’s just me.
The never ending challenge is finding that good read. I read some bestsellers but often like to dig deeper and find great novels that show women’s lives in other cultures, history or immigrant stories. Then, I intersperse a good chick-lit book. Though as I quickly approach the mid-40’s mark, I’m finding that I am outgrowing the cute chick-lit books with 20 something characters dating travails.
Here are a few sites that help me find a good read:

Clearly, I find the BEST books from my sisterhood of like kind readers.
What are you reading and where are you going?
Good reads seem to find their way to me. I'm lucky to get a bunch of books that are either self-published or published by a small press come across my desk. Great books are a blessing!
BTW, visiting from SITS! I'll be back!
