The Top Books of April
(listed by release date)
The Forgotten Ones by Steena Holmes– Nothing better than starting a new month with a Steena Holmes book. Holmes’ captivates with every book.
The Female Persuasion by Meg Wolitzer– To quote People, “Equal parts cotton candy and red meat, in the best way.” So excited to read this one!
The Good Liar by Catherine McKenzie– This book had all of my reviewers captivated. McKenzie’s best and that says it all!
Hurricane Season by Lauren Denton– Denton joined the Southern fiction writers club last year. Hurricane Season’s tagline is, “A Souther Novel of Two Sisters and the Storms They Must Weather.” Yes please!
A Nantucket Wedding by Nancy Thayer– It simply isn’t Spring until the new Nancy Thayer novel comes out!
The Forever Summer by Jamie Brenner- paperback release- The USA Today bestseller is out in paperback. If you missed this one last year, you must read it know. Come back here on 4/10 for a giveaway of this paperback!
Nothing is Forgotten by Peter Golden– I am a huge fan of Peter Golden’s books. This one is fabulous- the life-changing journey of a young man who travels from New Jersey to Khrushchev’s Russia and the beaches of Southern France as he finds love and discovers the long-hidden secrets about his heritage. My reviewers are loving it!
Sophia of Silicon Valley by Anna Yen– How can we not love a book with this description? Sharp, dramatic, and full of insider dish, SOPHIA OF SILICON VALLEY is one woman’s story of a career storming the corridors of geek power and living in the shadow of its outrageous cast of maestros.
Somebody’s Daughter by Rochelle Weinstein– Every mother of tweens and teens must read! USA Today best-selling author Weinstein tackles the difficult topic of sexting, teens and social media with a powerhouse of a novel. This one will go big!
The Hellfire Club by Jake Tapper- Who better to write a political thriller than CNN’s chief Washington correspondent? You cannot put this book down and that is not fake news!
The Husband Hour by Jamie Brenner- Brenner’s newest Summer novel is simply outstanding. When a young widow’s reclusive life in a charming beach town is interrupted by a surprise visitor, she is forced to reckon with dark secrets about her family, her late husband, and the past she tried to leave behind. Trust me- read this book!
